Welcome to SWB and rideSWB. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern every purchase you make on rideswb.com and any related sub-domains, mobile sites or applications (collectively the “Site”).

By browsing, ordering or otherwise using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our legal entity is PDG Global Limited, a Hong-Kong incorporated company trading as SWB / rideSWB. All references to “SWB”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to PDG Global Limited.

 

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to purchase from the Site. By placing an order you confirm that you meet these requirements.

 

2. Account & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or device.
  • You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

 

3. Product Information & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF).
  • VAT is calculated and charged only for orders being shipped inside the European Union. Any applicable VAT will be displayed and collected at checkout.
  • We strive for accuracy in descriptions, images, specifications and pricing; occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
  • Colours and graphics may vary slightly from those shown on-screen due to manufacturing tolerances and monitor settings.

 

4. Orders, Acceptance & Payment

  • Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order in our sole discretion.
  • Payment must be received in full before we process your order. We accept:
    • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, UnionPay
    • WeChat Pay & AliPay
    • Google Pay & Apple Pay
  • We use industry-standard encryption; however we are not liable for unauthorised access by third parties.

 

5. Shipping & Title

  • Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the goods to the carrier. Damage or loss in transit is your responsibility to claim from the carrier.
  • Shipping times shown at checkout are estimates and commence once your order has been dispatched. Delays due to customs, pandemics, weather or other factors are outside our control.
  • Undeliverable or unclaimed packages that are returned to us may be subject to additional shipping charges for re-dispatch.

 

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

International customers (outside the EU) are responsible for all import duties, VAT, brokerage fees and other charges levied by your destination country. Refusal to pay these charges will result in the package being abandoned or returned; any additional costs incurred will be deducted from any refund due.

 

7. Warranty & Returns – Manufacturing Defects Only

  • All sales are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind.
  • Returns or replacements will only be considered for manufacturing faults or product defects. The final determination of whether a defect exists rests solely and exclusively with SWB.
  • SWB longboard decks are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for 120 days from the date of purchase.
  • Complete boards and other hardware (trucks, wheels, bearings, grip-tape, bolts, etc.) are warranted for 30 days.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.
  • Not covered: normal wear & tear, impact damage, water damage, modifications, misuse, abuse, improper assembly or maintenance.
  • No returns will be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • To claim under warranty contact [email protected] with your order number, photos and description of the issue. We may ask you to return the item at your cost for inspection. If the claim is approved we will repair, replace or refund at our discretion.

 

8. Assumption of Risk & Indemnity

Longboarding, skateboarding and related activities are inherently dangerous and involve the risk of serious bodily injury, paralysis or death. By purchasing and/or using any product from SWB you:

  • Voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of our products, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment failure and user error.
  • Agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless PDG Global Limited, its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, distributors, retailers, partners, affiliates and any other party involved in the manufacture, sale or distribution of SWB products (“Indemnified Parties”), from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
    • Your use of SWB products;
    • Any injury, death or property damage you or a third party may suffer;
    • Your violation of these Terms;
    • Any act of war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, natural disaster or force majeure event.
  • Understand that this indemnity applies regardless of whether the claim is based on negligence, breach of warranty, strict liability, product liability or any other legal theory, and even if the Indemnified Parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SWB and PDG Global Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data or use, arising out of or relating to the purchase or use of any product sold on the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

 

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

 

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

 

Returns & Refunds Policy – Manufacturing Defects Only

Effective:

  • All sales are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind.

We collect and process personal data solely to fulfil orders, provide customer support and improve our products. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as necessary to complete your order (shipping carriers, payment processors) or as required by law.
